Your client is the most valuable thing in your life right now next to your family.  So you better fight for them like your life depends on it.  Otherwise, what use are we?  Any flunky can make a buck just hustling,  I would like to think we are much more valuable commodity to our clients.  They trust us, and depend on us for their best interests.  So get out there and fight for them.

Isn't that what we are all supposed to be doing in areas where we are agents for the client?

I am not being sarcastic by this next statement, we do not have this as an option - what is the role of a transaction broker as far as the above?  Is there any fiduciary obligation to 'fight for them'?

John, we always do what is best for the client. Our assessment should always be based on facts and or experience as Realtors. Many agents are letting things slide right now or least more than in the past. Let them be that type of agent. Those will not be in business for long.
