The Pit was transformed from this past weeks pristine condition hosting the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament into the perfect dirt filled place for the Ty Murray Invitational Bull Riding at The Pit in Albuquerque NM!
Preparing for the annual Ty Murray Invitational means working non-stop during the preparations of this annual bull riding event. Felt is first placed over the pristine hardwood flooring, plastic is laid then two layers of thick plywood then tons of dirt is actually rented keeping two Bobcat tractors working hard and fast to get the flooring just perfect for the Ty Murray Invitational Bull Riding event at The Pit in Albuquerque NM!
Thirty five tough bull riders will compete to stay on the rough and ready bulls for eight hard fought seconds doing their best to hang on for the grand prize cash and coveted title! This event at The Pit is sure to be a crowd pleaser in the Albuquerque NM area! In 2011 The Pit was packed with over 25,000 in attendance for the Ty Murray Invitational in Albuquerque NM and they are expecting even more fans this year!
The Pit in Albuquerque NM will feature an extra event showcasing the top 15 riders in the world competing against the 15 highest-ranked bulls at each event!
