It’s been an interesting week with a possible double listing (in the next two weeks or so), a pocket listing of a lakefront home I sold to this couple exactly 3 years ago,a referral from another agent and an accepted cash offer on a FSBO.
Oh, and then there was the moment when my dog Jenna wasn’t really walking, was panting through the entire night, not sleeping at all (either of us) and her vet was an hour away at the coast. Up early two days ago and off we went, taking her “brother” Takoda with us. The last time, just a week ago, when I brought her home after an overniter at the clinic, this is what he did when she came home and laid down.
It's been a mystery illness. We thought we had it solved. No. IV fluids, two nights' stay, lots more tests. We are hoping and praying that this "fixes it". And Takoda has been depressed without her, but finds solace in human love.
It’s been touch and go and having friends, wine and a wonderfully fun movie to watch last night (It’s Complicated) made the time go faster so that I can now get ready to hop in the truck and go get my girl!
