What would Spring in the Carolinas be without the Easter Bunny?  Next weekend, the Easter Bunny visits historic downtown Matthews NC twice. 

Lunch with the Easter BunnyEaster Bunny

On Friday, March 30, the Easter Bunny will have lunch with children ages two to five.  The luncheon will take place at the Matthews Community Center from 11am to 12pm.  The children will also do a fun craft and have a picture taken with the bunny.  Tickets for the lunch are $7 and can be purchased at the community center.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Stumptown Park in downtown Matthews will host the annual Easter Eggstravaganza for children ages 12 and under.  There will be carnival games, prizes and inflatables for hopping plus the annual Egg Hunts.  Refreshments and music will round out the festival.  The Easter Bunny will be available for photos.  The Easter Eggstravaganza will take place on Saturday March 31st between 11am and 2pm.  Admission is $5 per child with children under 2 admitted free.
