Lyndeborough, NH is one of Southern NH's more rurally oriented towns, however, it is close to Milford or Peterborough, NH and does have all the essentials itself like a town hall, an expanded library, its own elementary school, a village store, town offices, historic and a new town centers (plural) and plenty of historic cemetery plots where one can trace the town history. Additionally there are trails, 3 mountains, Wynn, Rose and Pinnacle mountains, as well as old foundations or bridge supports made from hand placed granite which cross countless meandering brooks. One certainly has multiple options in Lyndeborough, NH when considering recreational pursuits- cross country skiing, snowmobiling, day hikes, camping, fishing. The REAL reason one moves to Lyndeborough is privacy and a love for the outdoors and being part of small town life.
One of my listings in apple pie country, NH, a place called Lyndeborough NH:
Here for instance, is a home recently listed by me at Virtual Homes Real Estate where I go under the banner of THE POPE OF REALITY!
This home is in great condition, offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an oversized 2 car garage and barn as well as 20 or more apple trees that are freshly pruned and totally productive and yielding many types of apples. Through his agent, the owner would be happy to give serious buyers a tour and explanation of the apple production and seasonal cycle as he is an award winning NH apple grower himself! Barn, outdoor shower, brick patio for entertaining family or guests, mountain views, protection against nearby development, top of the hill location, this property has it all, is nicely done and is tasteful in every aspect. One part of the home that I particularly like is the seasonal enclosed porch- big enough to not feel cramped, and yet it feels like both part of the house and part of the outdoors, a connection to the outside. This home has a very good vibe!
