Lyndeborough, NH is one of Southern NH's more rurally oriented towns, however, it is close to Milford or Peterborough, NH and does have all the essentials itself like a town hall, an expanded library, its own elementary school, a village store, town offices, historic and a new town centers (plural)  and plenty of historic cemetery plots where one can trace the town history.  Additionally there are trails, 3 mountains, Wynn, Rose and Pinnacle mountains, as well as old foundations or bridge supports made from hand placed granite which cross countless meandering brooks.  One certainly has multiple options in Lyndeborough, NH when considering recreational pursuits- cross country skiing, snowmobiling, day hikes, camping, fishing.  The REAL reason one moves to Lyndeborough is privacy and a love for the outdoors and being part of small town life.
