I've worked the past 7 days straight doing consults. The Spring market has really taken off in Burlington and Milton. One thing that has been consistent with them all, is that there are always things sellers would rather not do to enhance their home. It's too much work or they are not willing to make another investment in their home.
The changes recommended in your Staging Consult can make a big difference in how your house presents to the Buyer. They have been shown to pay back in a better offer and/or a shorter time on the market.
Here are some of the things worth doing:
A very large TV in a small room may be great for living but when you are selling, it is eating up valuable Real Estate. Make the extra effort and remove it while you are on the market.
Some sellers do not want to invest in new lighting that they will leave behind. Some think it will be too complicated or time consuming. Lighting is a relatively inexpensive way to update a home.
Most Buyers have trouble visualizing past what it in a room. This is why it helps when you complete the picture for them.
Don't confuse the Buyer. Each space should have one clear purpose. In this kitchen the futon was removed and the light fixture was upgraded to create a dining space.
Make that last investment of time and money and reap the benefits.
