10 Comments on Montgomery County TX Home Staging Tip: Giving New Life To The Ugly Chair.
Hi Anna ~ What a clever idea! You are very good at using inexpensive materials to make something old look beautiful! Please continue to show us more of your wonderful designs!
Hi Anna--you know I love to reuse, repurpose and recycle and what you did with that chair and bedding is so creative and beautiful. People would pay big money for a chair like that, but as you explain, with a little hard work and creativity you can achieve the look yourself for a fraction of the cost. Love how you tied the whole room together.
The chair looks amazing Anna and I love the colors in the bedroom. Well done. You just reminded me I have to chairs that need to be recovered................I need to get busy.
Anna: You are so talented. I love the added punch on the bed. A girlfriend used shower curtains for vest fabric but I prefer your idea. The chair looks so good!
Well done Anna! I LOVE the colors....of course it's common knowledge that I love black, and the pattern on the seat is fabulous!
I have a chair that needs a new seat that I'm anxious to do....just have to wait and see what room I'm using it in so I know what fabric to use.
Anna, what a great project! A little fabric can make a big difference. Combine that with painting the chair and it is updated completely. well done!
Thank you Maureen, stay tuned I have to more projects in mind...or maybe more LOL
Janet, you right that little bit of time and some creativity can do wonders.
Roger, thank you . I will be waiting for your pictures.
Thank you so much Valerie, I keep looking at this chair and thinking about reupholstering my whole dining set.
Sharon, thanks for advising your BM Satin Impervo. The paint is delight to work with. I have 2 more items on my list...just can't stop painting.
Janice, people are so attached to the last century wood finishing and old apholstery. It's time to update with vibrant colors and go bold in fabric.
Anna, love the idea of using a fabulous shower curtain with vibrant colors - you did a great job and the chair looks fantastic!
Beautifully done Anna!
Joanna, thanks. I bought one shower curtain, and than saw the same fabric in my local fabric store. So there is no difference.
Thank you Tom.
