McLain Ward won this year's $100, 000 National Horse Show Grand Prix. He is a crowd favorite and is from Brewster New York. He rode 9 year old Dutch bred mare, Phillipa. Ward is 32 years old and is an Olympic Gold Medalist. The 2008 Olympics will be held in China.
Kent Farrington won the Rolex/USEF National Show Jumping Champion. Farrington is from Chicago and he rode Chiqui. Kent is 26 years old. He also won the World Cup Qualifier earlier this year in Kentucky.
The National Horse Show kicks off our Equestrian season here in Wellington Florida. Make sure to come out and watch some of the upcoming Polo games and in February be sure to be here for the Winter Equestrian Festival.
