5 Comments on Seniors get ready to become tech savvy | Demystifying home computing
A good program indeed and one that most seniors will not only benefit but enjoy; thanks for sharing Jennifer.
Jennifer ~ Even with age, seniors can still learn to use the internet. I saw on TV a woman in a nursing home using Skype to contact her friends overseas at 105 years old... she rocks!
Jennifer, I am probably one of the least tech savvy people I know. But, one of the places I volunteer is at my nearby senior center to help with computer skills. The people LOVE it when they get a chance to "turn on" the computer - not boot it up. It's all about talking to them in real English and not techno speak.
Howdy and evening Jennifer
Jennifer my friend, home computing event classes sure are mighty helpful for Seniors, to be able to learn even more about computing, plus to keep their info safe online.
Have a good one

Jennifer, We have a draft of computer learning for seniors too and thought it was a worthwhile event to spread the word on. We too are experiencing working with seniors who are getting more and more adept at working their computers...but of course we'll never catch up to how fast kids learn this stuff!
