How to have a better day, EVERY day
•Decide today will be a great day from the moment you wake up. Say it out loud or write it down.
•If you’re not ready for high gear, start out at a slower pace; if you’re not feeling up to an intense day, take it slow and steady, you’ll still accomplish a lot but feel less stressed doing it.
•Give every one, including yourself, a break. Just for the day, don’t judge, but cultivate compassion.
•Observe, don’t react. Be aware of things that would typically make you angry and instead, choose to observe in a detached way.
•Smile at everyone you meet. Even if you don’t initially feel like it; fake it ‘til you make it.
•Do something nice for someone. Pay it forward. •Treat yourself by indulging in a favorite treat or activity. •Practice gratitude. Count your blessings. Be thankful.
•Get ample rest. Recharge.
