The owner knew I was coming.
When ever I get the call to perform a home inspection, I would think the owners of the home would pick up and clean out the areas they might think I need to get into.
The more access I have the better. I look for places they might try to hide away problems that could arise in the future.
In this case the problem was right in front of me staring at me with a glaring look.
This roof leak was a mystery. Think about it, we have not had much of any rain in two years.
Our last rain was about two months ago, and it was not that heavy of a rain.
Maybe they were "testing the roof for leaks". Yes that is mold on the walls.
This drain was installed to help drain the rainwater from the roof. Not the way I would have chosen, but it will work.
Notice there is no sheet rock on the ceiling of the "ATTACHED garage". Sad part is, there never has been any sheet rock installed, ever.
This home was built in 1959. With the exception of the roof leak, the home is in really good shape.
Have a great day every one.
