Do you like Crawfish? If so plan to attend the Katy Crawfish Festival.

Friday March 30 thru Sunday April 1, 2012

This is a weekend long festival hosted by Katy Area Chamber of Commerce.

Attendance is FREE: There will be live music, carnival games, lots of fun things to do, good food and rides.

Arts and crafts plus commercial exhibitors and vendors will be onsite.

The Festival is being held at Katy Mills Mall.

Katy Mills is located at 5000 Katy Mills Mall, Katy Texas

Food will include spicy hot crawfish, traditional Louisiana plates (food and drinks are not free) and many other exceptional items.

The theme this year is “Lagniappe” which to a Cajun means a small gift or something small not expected.

Promoters say bring out your lawn chair or a blanket and claim a good spot by the stage.

Families, friends and individuals are all invited.

This should be a really fun festival with many interesting sights, sounds, food and vendors.

Don’t be surprised if hear someone say to you “Tu veux une goûtée”.

They may have take out but I am unsure. There will be a lot of folks attending this festival as the mall is usually packed on this any old day let alone a Festival.

My wife loves crawfish and I am sure we will partake in buying some of the crawfish. Personally I really like crawgish in a sandwich with crab or catfish.

Oh, Bob, you're killing me here. I haven't had crawfish since I was a child, and used to catch them. Oh, the joy that brings back. I respect your opinion about them, but heap me up some good old crawdads as we uses\d to call them, and I would be in heaven.

Bob my friend, I sure do like Crawfish, sure do wish I could attend the Katy Crawfish Festival! Folks sure are in for a mighty fun time attending this here Katy Area Chamber of Commerce event.

A course a lot of the foods which I really like, a lot of folks here look at me most of the time like I'm from some other planet. Crawfish is just one such food.
