Reasons home sales are picking up in Franklin, NC include but are not limited to:

With that said here is a tip to home buyers who want to get a good deal.  BE PREPARED!  Don't start looking before you are qualified and miss out on the dream home you wanted.  Get with a good Real Estate Agent and stick with them.  Ask them to guide and direct you on the necessary steps to be ready.  Almost ALL sellers are now asking for Pre-qualification letters from your bank and especially a Short Sale or a Foreclosure.

June, houses flying off the market??? multiple offers???  busy market???...don't you read the news???...homes aren't selling they're just sitting on the market forever...at least that's what the media says...yeah right.  I'm so busy I can't keep up and so are many of the agents that I know.  I think it's time for the news media to update their tired worn out stock print...the market is great...homes are selling and inventory is dropping...new construction is definitely on the rebound...at least in my neck of the woods...maybe a one of those news reporter types should pay you and me a visit.
