I always say...leave the job to the professionals.
I set the buyers up on automatic updates with their wish list on the MLS. Save a buyer from looking at 170 plus listings that may or may not have their parameters.
Carla...I had a client tell me he was surprised that I was able to look at all the houses in less time than it took him to log on and set his parameters. "Why am I doing this?" he asked me.
Today people are spoiled by the volume of real estate listings available to them. Each site packages them a little differently. Each search returns them in another order. The public perception is there must be something hidden out there I have missed.
I have clients using my search plus I know they still go out to Zillow or Trulia. Why ? I really have no clue.
When I new property comes on the market I send it to them immediately. I don't like drips. I like to preview the property myself to be sure it meets the requirements of the client. It's much easier for me to check the hot sheet than it is for them to pour through a search.
Hi Sarah -- absolutely
Hey Bill -- I can do that do, but I don't. I find that the parameters are still to broad and my clients are bombarded with crap that really doesn't make sense to them.
Hi Nancy . . . that's another plus to this!! Actually going out to see them.
Hey Bonnie -- I couldn't agree with you more. Just this afternoon a client found something on somewhere showing it was active, back on market . . . but the home is showing pending, I tell her 10 times. "But, I saw it active." Nope, it's pending. I really have no clue why either. I love checking the hot sheet!! I'm with you and thanks for the comments!
Carla, Good advice for buyers. I had a client who emailed me request to look at listings and she wwrote some id numbers from some sites I had no idea where she got the information because these were not in our mls .
It can be frustrating when they search on different sites and the homes are withdrawn or expired or pending listings.
yes... find ME on zillow and then hire me to do my job. Love the twist on a song that will be in my head all night now. :) Hope you have a great Wednesday.
