Hi,

Does anyone know what is in a Client Data Form?

I don't want to have to buy one, I'd rather create it myself.

What should I ask to avoid headaches?

THANKS!!!!

Mia,

A Client Data Form is simply a form you use to obtain info regarding your client. The "info" would be info that you would like to obtain and include in your contact management database. For example, you will need the name, phone number(s), email, mailing address etc. of the client.

Some agents even have a form for "prospective clients." This is basically the same form, but it also includes questions you want to ask a prospect to qualify them for your business. For example:

A. Ss this person looking to buy or sell?

B.What types of savings do they have?

C. Where & how long have they been employed?

D. What are they looking for in a home?

E. Are they currently working w/ a real estate or mortgage professional?

F. Have they been pre-approved? If so, by whom, what are the terms and for what amount?

Basically, it's the info you need for your records.
