Seattle Relocation? Let me help you with the maze...
Seattle real estate is more than just finding a house - it also involves finding a neighborhood or suburb of Seattle that really feels like home. Seattle has some of the best neighborhoods and suburbs! Each one is very special and has different offerings.
Some things to consider when moving to Seattle or any of the Seattle suburbs:
Seattle School Districts: If you have children, make sure and check out the schools! Seattle is serviced by Seattle School District, while many of the South Snohomish County cities and neighborhoods like Mountlake Terrace, Brier, and Edmonds are serviced by Edmonds School District. Other local school districts include Northshore School District and Everett.
Seattle Local amenities: You don't have to go far for local amenities no matter where you are in Seattle or its suburbs!!! Do you like outdoor activities, movies, shopping, mountains, water sports? They are all here! Each neighborhood in Seattle or Seattle suburb has easy access to all of these things including a huge network of Seattle parks and trails.
Seattle commuting: We do have traffic in Seattle and its suburbs, but we are also continually striving to improve our transportation system. Seattle suburbs are revamping local Park N Rides and the local Seattle metro system in general is an incredibly efficient way to travel. Cyclists can bike to work through our huge system of Seattle interconnecting trails - even if you live in Seattle and want to work at Microsoft in Redmond! Downtown Seattle also just put in a new streetcar system! Don't forget about the ferry boat system! Living "off the mainland" has never been easier with a quick ferry ride across the sound from Bremerton, Vashon Island, Bainbridge Island, or Kingston among others.
Seattle Real Estate - Seattle and Seattle suburb real estate has never been a better buy. For the first time in well over a decade, we are in a buyers market and there is actually inventory to choose from. In addition, there are buyer bonuses and perks everywhere whether you are looking for new construction or a period craftsman. Seattle architecture is a thing of beauty and we are still one of the most under priced markets on the West Coast! Relocating to Seattle is a good thing and buying Seattle real estate or Seattle suburb real estate is a good investment!
