Last Friday I was honored by receiving the Central Valley Women's Council of Realtors 2007 Business Women of the Year Award.
It is no secret of my love for the Women's Council of Realtors. I joined the Contra Costa Chapter in Jan. 2003, served as their Marketing and Sponsorship Chairperson for 2 years. I was heavily involved in the business resource meetings and fund-raising.
In October 2006 I moved to the Central Valley and the first thing I did when I arrived was to find a local WCR Chapter. I joined and I am now serving my second term as the Marketing and Ways and Means Chairperson. I love my chapter in more ways than I can explain. Each month we have luncheons with speakers, raffles etc. It has been a wonderful way to help grow my business.
Last Friday we had out end of the year Holiday Party, Awards Ceremony and Installation of our new board. It was a fabulous event and I am truly honored to receive this award. It is very nice to be recognized by your peers.
