Does anyone know what happened 234 years ago today?

 Hint: 1)It happened in the Northeast 2) It had to do with lowering taxes on a foreign company giving them a trading advantage 3) The purpetrators dressed up as Mohawk Indians

Yes, you are right.  It was December 16,  1773 when there was a revolt in the Boston Harbor that became known as the "Boston Tea Party."

The colonist boarded three British tea ships and dumped 342 chests of tea into the harbor.

 

What was the name of the three ships?  Do you know the names?  Guess?  Anyone?
