Do your Homework!

This is a wise thing to do - never allow anyone to just tell you anything.  Take the time and search the internet for information.  Sure you will be working with professionals that should have the answers but ... you need to know what questions to ask - upfront.

 One thing in follow up from Tip #1 - qualify yourself. 

A smart agent will do their homework - so I suggest you do yours.  Did you know that both the lender of your choice and the agent you hire will be "qualifying" you as a buyer? Here a post that I re-blog that says it all about what agents will be looking for. 

Do your homework or it will not get done!  Look on the internet, ask questions of the professionals you choose to help you find your dream home.  Qualify yourself: check you budget,  Do your homework: check the internet to find out as much as you can about what the market is like, what kinds of properties you will probably have to choose from, how they work and who know how to work them!
