Movies in the Park in Lake HavasuOne of the wonderful things about living in Lake Havasu City is the weather.  It gives you plenty of opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors in all its glory.  In fact, many "indoor" activities are brought outside: dining, shopping, etc.  We even watch our movies outside.  The Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department offers free Movies in the Park every Saturday evening beginning at dusk (7pm in March, 7:30pm in April).  All you have to do is bring the family, some chairs, blankets and jackets (it can still get a little nippy after the sun goes down) and head on down to Rotary Park (1400 Smoketree Ave) any Saturday night.

Each evening's entertainment is shown on a giant 20' x 18' inflatable screen.  All screenings are family-friendly and a different movie is presented each week.  Bring the family, a blanket and/or chairs for your comfort and a snack to enjoy a nice evening of family-friendly entertainment at Rotary Park.  Movies in the Park in Lake Havasu is just one example of how Havasu residents incorporate the outdoors into all aspects of the Lake Havasu lifestyle.
