- Perfecting a 30 second elevator speech that sets you apart from the crowd
- Ask for referrals from past clients, if you did a great job, it will surely happen
- Get up, dress up, show up & follow up...and FOLLOW-UP some more
Right on the money Wanda..................a big part of being seen is being heard!
Wanda, You come up with some great blogs, once again this is one of them!
I guess if one is a burgler the title would vbe right, but as business people, we need to be seen and heard at high volume for people forget soon.
Thanks Will, Another childhood memory put to rest. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Bill, Or unless you are a secret agent!
So true Wanda. It's important to be a good listener, but you can't sit back and say nothing! There's work to be done!
Donna, That rule just doesn't apply anymore does it? Yes, off to work we go!
Wanda, too many times, we act like secret agents rather than Real Estate Agents...
Thanks for the reminder.
These are true pearls of wisdom Wanda. Now for the follow through! Have a great weekend.
Chris, Unless you are a secret agent, I wouldn't suggest acting like one!
Al & Peggy, Thank you and have a great weekend too! I will follow-up on you to be sure you followed-through and had one! ;)
Hi Wanda,
I also grew up with this same type of philsophy - I grew up in the North! We all have to question whether or not the things we were taught in life are true, and most importantly, is it appropriate or even valid today?
You make a great point Wanda. We live and we learn to perfect our thoughts and behaviors.
All the best to you!!!
Patricia
Referrals from past clients are the bread and butter of this business! Great post!
Wanda
My grandmother used to swat me for sassing and i did not even say anything at times. I like the elevator speech thing.
Patricia, Some of the things that worked back then are better left in the past!
Barbara-Jo, Yes, referrals are a GREAT indication of a job well done!
Tom, Oh I can relate to that! I am still working on my speech...
