Connie, that is SO true! Any type of class or seminar is usually jam packed with tons of information and can be quite overwhelming. What a great piece of advice, I love it! Master that ONE thing well today!
Connie that is so true. One good idea, one good habit, or one good marketing tool can make all the difference without overloading.

Hmmm. That gets me thinking. I wonder what one thing I will learn today. I always find that when I hear one profound thing, I stop focusing and absorb that little nugget, but I have never thought about embracing that action and taking it further. Thanks for putting that in writing. I can't wait to see what that one thing will be.
Connie- that's a very interesting take on it. I guess if you try to take in too much, you'll learn a little about many different things but if you concentrate on the one subject that interests you, then you'll have mastered that. And so much is gained from networking too. Have a great BarCamp!

Kathy - Too many times I take pages and pages of notes only to drop them on my desk and pile things on top of them. Never doing any of the items at all.

Karen - I'm hoping to go to one of these in another city later this year just to learn ONE thing and to meet up with some AR members that I haven't met in person yet.

Learning one thing and using it works not only in RE BarCamp, but in life as well. It will be interesting to hear more of your stories as you test these new things.
Emily - So often we try to do/learn too many things and then nothing is totally completed. I can't tell you the notebooks of information that I have brought back only to never look at it.
