True story- My daughter's boyfriend was here on spring break helping me resurrect our pasture fencing. The day I had the post pounder here at $150 per day, the tractor I use to move it around wouldn't start at one point. It's old, needs babied and you have to know the quirks. I let Blake run it and he's the first I've ever let get on it. He couldn't restart it so I jumped on and tried. Nothing! We switched to the pickup truck and I came back to it later but this time I remembered to ask the Spirit to help me. I suddenly noticed the mower deck was engaged which prevents it from starting. We weren't using the deck but he must of bumped it on. It never occurred to me to check that until I asked the Holy Spriit for help. It would be so much easier if I would remember to do that every time!
Than, The moment I get stuck I ask out loud for help and guidance. I always get it ... sometimes in an instant. It's all in the asking ... and willingness to receive.
I'm not good at so many things that I find it depressing to go there so I think about the positive things that I can do to help someone else.
