I've always enjoyed being a "face-to-face" type of guy ... from my first starting career as a public school teacher, later as a public school high school principal, and throughout my second career as a real estate agent.
Recently, I encountered several additional face-offs ... my next venture was in "Facebook." I recently did my first posting in that arena. To my surprise, a number of old friends, real estate clients, and others made initial contacts with me. Now remember that I am a "face-to-face type of guy." That's also called "old-school" to so many of you much younger than me.
Finally, just last evening I discovered "face-time" as a part of my learning experience with my iPad. It was indeed very interesting. I certainly won't forget it, but one must remember that I still remain an old-school "face-to-face type of guy." Not don't misunderstand me ... that doesn't mean I'm not forward thinking which I certainly am, or not somewhat progressive which again I am, or not open to new learning when again I call myself a "life-long learner" which I believe I am fairly high on the charts.
But as I move along into the technological world, I find myself surprised again and again. But one must continue to do that in order to reach one's varied client base in the search for clients in the real estate field. But please remember that I do a regular blog on Active Rain which I have done since 2008 only a couple of years after the company started. And I do a weekly online newsletter, BeachNotes, about 45+ weeks a year. Considering those topics, I should move up just a bit on some people's charts.
So I am continuing to "face-off" as I reach out to people who love Ocean City, New Jersey as I do, to those who regard the Northend and Gardens as their stumping grounds, and to anyone who might need some assistance in real estate at any time.
