Richard, great information. I always laugh at my results tab - the jokes get the most, then the brain teasers, then the other content pages. Guess I need to keep the humor going, LOL.
Juli, Please do keep the humor going. Lots of us crave the humor, but not the "embarrassing", at least for me, brain teasers. Actually, I like everything that you do. Didn't you enlighten me about Gigantic Dust Storms? That was amazing! Best wishes always.
I have not really begun to use Google +. Maybe I am missing out, but it does seem like another thing to add to an already long list.
Richard~` I think getting noticed is an art form! I have found that it takes time and energy that is well worth the efforts here!! Figuring it all out is of course an ongoing process. I have found that certain things i think will get more clicks don't and others that i do not, get a bunch.
Localism is definitely a big attraction, and what i have found works best so far for me.. I am planning for a clone now so that i can write more of those!! LOL Thanks for the reminder to pay attention to the numbers!! Have a great weekend...
Melissa, I agree completely, our list of things to do is growing longer every day. While Google + is not fully embraced by everyone, I sense that WE need to get on board with it. I firmly believe in the personal benefits that WE can gain by using any and all related Google options like Google +, YouTube, Picasa, etc. Best wishes always.
Janis, Just think of me as your "Personal" reminder of Things To Do. ;-)
Localism is something that I've been approaching primarily from a Video perspective. My Community Video Websites are very important to my Overall Marketing Plan.
It takes the time it takes to lay out a solid system for success. My long term vision for Localism is being shaped by what I see others doing. I'll be keeping an eye on you! Thank you for sharing and best wishes always.
Richard this is a great motivater for active rain newbies. Wow you've come a long way Richard.....it's awesome! Lets' spread the word and show folks what can be accomplished with a plan and consistency.

As Melissa stated Google+ has been on to do list forever it seems I just don't block the time to learn it and put it to work for me. While not everyone embraces this - it may be a good thing and definitely can't hurt my rankings.
Stats are great, if we use them....we have to make sure we are tracking and learning. This really illustrates that.
Richard, like wine....we get better over time. You're turning into a rare and expensive bottle!
Anna, When I'm not getting passed on the highway by Banana Mobiles, I like to motivate others.
If we apply ourselves, we can all come a long way. Even a Star like YOU had humble beginnings: October 2008 (2) but, look at YOU now: March 2012 (49)
Thank you for FEATURING this post in The BananaTude Group and best wishes always.
Linda, At the very least, establish a Google + Account and build your profile with complete contact information. Then, add ALL of the people that you know on ActiveRain to a Circle. Next, start sharing each of your posts on Google +. Then you can start learning more about it, as time permits. Good luck and best wishes always.
Karen, What we don't know can really hurt us. But, what we know, and fail to do anything about, is just foolish.
Who wants to be The Biggest April Fool On Earth, certainly not US. ;-) Thank you for sharing and best wishes always.
I still am amazed at the number of Short URL clicks that you get. I want to know WHY????
I really wish they would improve our ability to look at stats. I'd love to see how many clicks from non-AR members and I'd love if we could sort or our posts from highest to lowest.
Richard, I always think it is the biggest honor to be reblogged and really found it to be a good path back to my own blog. People read who they feel a connection with and when someone reblogs a person, their regular readers take this as a recommendation. Impressive stats...now let's see your elementary school report cards to see if you've always made this kind of progress! ;-D
Ellen, That's very sweet of you to say. Thank you! Have a great weekend and best wishes always.
Mimi, The only thing that I'm currently doing is creating the Short URL, as offered at the bottom of each post. Making a copy of it and then adding it to a Tweet, which includes the Title of the Post and maybe a teaser line. Sometimes, I'll Tweet about it again, with a slightly different teaser line, but I haven't done it more than twice for any post. I also begin My Tweets with @ActiveRain. Although I haven't made an effort to collect lots of Twitter Followers, My Followers are a high mix of Real Estate Agents, which may have more "REAL" interest than the usual Followers than follow to be followed. If I discover anything else, I'll let you know. Maybe I'll do an experiment and check for results. Thank you for being curious and best wishes always.
Debbie, I agree. I would also like to know the true source of these actions. I'm not one to accept results and leave it at that. I want to know the reasons for the results.
I could create a high view and click count by myself, if I wanted to, but what's the fun in that? In fact, the more we edit a post in "Draft", the more initial Views and Clicks with will have. For that matter, I could write comments to myself, not receive points, but have it add to my comment count. But, that would demonstrate the actions of a sad, lonely and desperate individual. Wait! Why did you just smile and nod your head? Of well, have a nice weekend and best wishes always.
Mona, Yes, having a post Re-Blogged is usually a very good thing, unless the person takes an aggressive opposing point of view and stirs things up. Fortunately, that seldom happens.
Regarding My Stats, I don't really know how they compare to other people, just how they compare to my previous results. But if YOU think they are impressive, that's good enough for me. I suppose the only really impressive result is when someone actually contacts us for business.
My Report Cards have been lost and/or sealed, but I do remember several teachers commenting about what a pleasure it was to have such a quiet and well behaved child in their class. ;-) Best wishes always.
