Boise State Broncos Stun Oklahoma Sooners

bronco logo I have to say, that was the most roller coaster football game I've seen in many a year! But with an overtime two point conversion, the Boise State Broncos beat the Oklahoma Sooners last night in the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona by a final score of 43-42.

Downtown Boise quickly filled up with fans celebrating and parading downtown, and ending the night with a rally on the Statehouse steps.

Congratulations BRONCOS!

An undefeated 12-0 season, and a convincing "never quit" finish in the Fiesta Bowl... now the rest of the country knows what we have known all along... you guys ARE the real thing, and we are SO proud of you!

Bill, what a game! Wow, I am so glad that I pumped myself up for it and was ready to watch the whole game, if it was a good game so that I can cheer for the media underdogs, boise state. What a game! As a non boise state fan, I had my heart broken but then it sure did take a quick turn. WOW!!!

it WAS a great game, wasn't it... we had the lowest attendance at our office meeting yesterday that I can ever recall, and a few who attended looked like they stayed awake all night.

big doings planned, probably for the first Saturday (Jan 20th) after the students get back on campus, to celebrate and congratulate the team.
