Would you like to take a trip into the Pinehurst area?   Before, the Cary Senior Center gave you a chance to learn about Lake Jordan, now you have the opportunity to learn even more about an area you live near!  You will begin your adventure with a glimpse into the Civil War era in Carthage.  Then, a historical tour with lunch at the prestigious Pinehurst Resort.  Following lunch is some local shopping.  The trip ends at the wonderful and award-winning Sand Hills Garden.  It is $42 for Cary residents and $55 for non-Cary residents.  Cost of this trip includes transportation, tours and lunch.  Please expect extensive walking on uneven pathways and come prepared for an assortment of weather.  Make sure you register by April 5th, this trip takes place on April 17th from 7:45 am to 4:45 pm.
