This photo reminds me of a time when I ran cross-country, River-to-River from the great Mississippi to the Ohio River. It was an experience I'll never forget. I remember the pavement under my feet, being alone with my thoughts running for 5-10 miles each segment of the journey solo, to catch up to my Team in the Van... then passing on the baton to the next runner and climbing into the Van, crashing to the floor of the vehicle and dreaming about life, in general.

Your photograph is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for the memories of time gone by.

How quiet the barn looks in black and white. I wonder what it was like when it was a working barn home for the farm? Your images always wake up my imagination and remind me of the barns tucked away in my memory from my days in New England. Thank you!
