York Region Transit to start charging fares on April 1, 2012
The free fares that York Region Transit was offering to riders for the past two months ended on March 31, 2012. The free fares were offered as compensation due to the preceeding three month strike.
Effective April 1, 2012, riders will need to begin paying York Region Transit fares.
Fares went up on January 1, 2012 and can be seen at www.yrt.ca.
