Sunday brain teaser - what is it?

A map was the first thing I thought of too, I agree with Mel.

Well, I'm all for jumping on the band wagon so I'll say map.  Not a topo though, that only shows elevations so it doesn't have roads.  Could be a globe.  But something tells me its less obvious.

My guess is a map, but I'm nto sure if that's right.  I will need to check back here since many maps have trees

My first thought was also a map - hate to copy everyone else though. Can't think of anything that has roads, hills, and rivers....
