Do you prefer PocketListings, SchoolandHousing or MLSListings for your home buyer searches?
While home search websites out there, each have their champions, few are loved by Silicon Valley home buyers. While IDX is a great tool, but it is definitely limited as (so far) we cannot effectively search by schools. Santa Clara County home buyers look for homes to buy in San Jose, Cupertino and Saratoga, Calif.
Although I’ve used MLSListings, it has come up way short for a recent relocation client due to (sadly) lazy agents who fail to input the school name and/or code in the listing data.
PocketListings (http://spreadyourbrand.com/profile.php?code=4082528900) is our newest tool through our Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS®. I love that it’s a mobile app but while it says we can search by schools, I still need to test it.
SchoolandHousing.com is a new site that allows home buyers to search homes by API scores, even, such as “All 800+API homes for sale in San Jose, Calif.” That is useful.
Which one do you prefer when searching Silicon Valley, Calif. homes for sale?
