In light of the recent resignations at Point2, they just made a fantastic announcement today!! 

Starting January 1, 2008 Saul Klein will step into the role of CEO for Point2.  Here is the official press release from Point2. 

Saul is and will still remain the CEO of InternetCrusade/RealTown.  He was also the creator of the e-PRO designation. 

"Klein brings to Point2 nearly 35 years of experience in the real estate industry and is one of the most respected professionals in the sector. In 2003, Klein was named one of the 25 Most Influential People in Real Estate by REALTOR® Magazine, the official publication of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), and was named by INMAN News as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Real Estate (technology) in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Klein's industry experience advising national and regional real estate franchises, MLSs (Multiple Listing Service), Boards and Associations on technology issues spans 16 years and brings to Point2 a significant new strategic advantage."

If you're not familiar with who Saul is.....feel free to read some of what he has done here.  WOW!!

I can't wait to see what directions he takes Point2 in.  They made a fantastic choice in selecting Saul.

Saul Klein is an extremely capable and innovative guy.  He should do an awesome job as CEO of Point2.

This is great news.  I have had a Point 2 site since I moved from Virgina to Maryland last year.  I was a little dismayed with the news of all the changes at Point 2.  Having someone like Saul could be the best thing for Point 2.  One of the first designations I received when I was first licensed was  e-PRO.  The information in the course and the Real Town list serve has served me well over the years.  I look forward to seeing what his presence will bring to Point 2.

Scott, I think many people were dismayed, so this should put a lot of people at ease.

Karen, I've yet to hear one negative thing about Saul.  Everyone seems to be fascinated by him and do nothing but rave about him, so I'm impressed.
