Here's another thing I like about Active Rain! (there are many)
Today I received an email from an agent in Arizona. (not yet an AR member but I intend to invite him) He told me he had a referral that he wanted to send me.
When I found out where it was I told him that Kimberling City, Missouri is about three and a half hours from me and was closer to Branson.
I told this AZ realtor that I would be glad to refer him to someone from my preferred network of realtors if he was interested. He was interested!
So I pulled up my AR, clicked on Missouri. There I found Russ Rosencrans and I remembered that I'd read a lot of posts by Russ. From reading those posts, I really felt like I knew Russ as a person and could count on him for the level of service I believe clients should receive.
I immediately emailed Russ with the information about a possible referral for him and gave him the contact information for the realtor in Arizona.
So what a productive day! In between showings I've gotten a referral, referred it to an Active Rain Member and invited someone to join our "preferred network of realtors."
