I'd like to call them HUD and REO homes because that is what the Real Living HER search calls the homes.  The search field is HUD homes and REO homes...  I see lots of REO homes but no HUD homes in the search results , today.

What is a "HUD home"? I learned a couple of years ago locally to NOT to call HUD homes "foreclosures." Here is a description from an expert of what a HUD home is. What's an REO Home?  "REO" stands for real estate owned.  REO homes are also referred to as bank owned homes... the bank foreclosed on the property and is now the owner. The differece in bank owned or REO homes and HUD homes is the mortgage insurance property on the HUD home went into effect and HUD owns the home not the bank. 

The Real Living HER searches above are for single family homes however in my experience looking at the searches, they include condominiums too.   The Real Living HER search will tell you every home is a single family home.  Perhaps that will be corrected in the future.   These links will continue to update with current information for current Worthington foreclosures based on infrormation from the Columbus Board of REALTORS mls.

Worthington Schools are NOT Included the searches are for homes in the Worthington City School District which includes homes in the cities of Worthington and Columbus as well as unincorporated areas. 

Columbus Ohio real estate - I believe the homes in the searches of homes in Worthington and other north, suburbanColumbus Ohio Franklin County school districts are more REO than HUD so probably the word "foreclosure" would be more appropriate.

Franklin County, Ohio HUD Homes priced from 100,000 to 200,000
