8 Comments on FALAFEL IS AN EXCELLENT MEAL AND GOES BACK TO BIBLE DAYS
Me and my husband LOVE falafel's! We actually drive pretty far to go to a really good restaurant to eat their authentic food!
Richie - I guess I did not have good luck finding a good one. Tried a couple of times, but it was very dry. People from Middle East say it is great.
Will wait till I go to Israel. i am sure they have the good ones there on every corner
Richie: I was looking for the pickled turnip - you know, that red stuff that crunches and tastes so good. We have a lot of Lebanese take out places near my home.
Love, love, love falafel! Especially with that spicy sauce ... yummy! A friend of a friend has a restaurant in Northridge called "Falafelicious" and it is supposed to be, well, falafelicious :) Is Northridge far from you?
LaNita.....You and your husband are serious decent people who love life and falafel...need I say more?
Hello Jon....my friend, when you do go to the Middle East, you will remember much from the eating stands and the street fare. Food sold from carts is excellent and would not exist if it wasn't. But, Jon, there are local places that excel at this. Don't despair my friend....I see a falafel sandwich (juicy) in your near future...thank you J
Valerie...you have a $100 credit at Richie's general store & post for mentioning the pickled turn-up who still turns up a Egyptian dig sites (not edible). These little delights put spring in your bite....Good one and thank you V
Carie...who leaves no doubt in any post readers mind where she stands on the subject and I quote "love love love"...I am 1-2 hours traffic pending from Northridge. Any place that has a name like falafelicious has to live up to the name. I know its good. BTW..you have a $10 credit at Richie's general store & post just for going to the effort of the correct spelling thank you C
@Carie - "Falafelicious" - what a wonderful name for the food establishment. A lot of creativity
Jon...maybe if you say it three times fast and optional clicking of your heals, you never know Jon...
