The Tridge is the main attraction at Chippewassee Park, Downtown Midland, MI. The name Tridge comes from two words, Tri and Bridge. It has a 31ft tall central pillar supporting 3 180ft long spokes that span the intersection of the Tittabawassee and Chippewassee Rivers. The Tridge helps to connect Chippewassee Park and St. Charles Park together. The Tridge also is the beginning point for both the Chippewa Nature Trail, and the Pere Marquette Rail Trail. Not only does the Tridge look cool during the day, It's a spectacular site when it is lit up at night. If you are ever in Midland, you just have to check out the Tridge.
