Arriviste is the new word of the day.

How many times have a witnessed this.  Of course the answer is many more than I wanted in some instances and not enough in others.  Some people take this in stride and others let it go to their heads.  The question I have for you is have you witnessed this and if so are you one of them?  Hard decision and requires you to take a long and hard look in the mirror.  The meaning of (a re vest’) is a person who has recently gained power, wealth, success etc. and is regarded as an upstart.
