I think laughter is such an overlooked part of living a healthy life. Many focus on eating right, but don't realize that too much stress and can do more harm than eating one too many "Big Mac's." For the record, I'm a health nut, I work-out 5-6 times a week, eat lots of vegetables and fruits as well as lean meats, but I always make sure to get a dose of daily laughter. Just like anything else it's a learned behavior, but once you get in the habit it's easy to do. Here are some of the things that I do to find a good laugh:
- Buy a couple of joke books, for a few bucks you can find some cheap but funny books on EBay.
- Check-out the $5 DVD bin at Walmart for some old comedy movies.
- Go to a live humorous play, or see a stand-up comedy show.
- Read a book by a humorous author: David Sedaris, Jean Shepherd, Molly Ivins, Susan Reinhardt, etc...
- Search YouTube for funny video clips.
There are many, many ways to add a little laughter to your daily routine, you just have to put a little effort into it, and with access to the internet it's easier than ever.

To help you get started today, here's a YouTube clip of a baby laughing, which I always find contagious. This clip has been around for a while, but every time I watch it I still get a good laugh from watching it.
