2 Comments on Leak Detections During Utah Infrared Home Inspections
Brandon, a few inspectors mention infrared on their cards or websites, but very few actually do them in my area.
Hey Chris,
More and more inspectors are giving into the technology because the benefits simply cannot be denied. Most inspectors are trying to charge extra fees for these services due to the substantial investment needed for the equipment and training. I've thought about charging extra fee's for such services but I believe thermal imaging is essential to providing a quality home inspection and therefore should be included.
Just give it another year or so and infrared home inspections will be the standard. It's always nice to see agents such as yourself who are interested in the technology vs. being scared of it finding additional concerns. It definitely shows you care as much if not more about your clients wellbeing than just a commission.
Thanks for your comments!
