The Wheaton school system consistently ranks among the best in Illinois.  Wheaton-Warrenville District 200 services elementary through high school students.  In addition to the 11 elementary schools and 4 middle schools of district 200, Wheaton North and Wheaton Warrenville South are the district's two high schools.  One also finds a Catholic elementary school and high school and a non-denominational Christian elementary school.  Wheaton Court HouseAdvance placement courses for college credit and a great variety of extra-curricular activities provide for well-rounded programs available at the high schools.  The 70-acre campus of Wheaton College, one of the most prestigious liberal arts colleges in the country, is located in the heart of the city.  College of DuPage, located in neighboring Glen Ellyn, is the largest community college in Illinois and has a 273-acre campus.
