OK, I know this movie was put out in 1993, however, I watched it again last night. This was packed with movie stars galore. Starring Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp, Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday, Sam Elliot as Virgil Earp. Below, you can see an entire list of ast and their parts.

As many of you know, this is set back in the late 1800's. This movie starts with Wyatt being a retired Marshall and taking refuge in Tombstone for retirement. Him, along with his 2 brothers take over dealing at the local salon and soon meet up with trouble with the Cowboy gang.

It does not take long for the plot to unwind and the gun slinging to start. If you are into history or westerns, this is a must see.

Danny,

This is one of my favorites and much better than the Kevin Costner one....in my very humble opinion.

How can you not like this movie?  I mean seriously Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Billy Bob Thornton, and the ever yummy Sam Elliott.  Good review Danny thanks for the man eye candy.

Danny, I'm your huckleberry!  My son and I once had a "Tombstone dialogue challenge" instant messaging session.  We carried on a conversation using lines from the movie.  So many good ones!
Ditto Linda's comment.  Mmmmmmmm.

Danny, Tombstone is one of my favorite movies!  Val Kilmer did a superb job in the role of Doc Holliday.  I also liked Dennis Quaid's portrayal of Doc in Wyatt Earp, although these were two very different performances.

What a great flick!  I think I'll have to watch it again sometime soon..

Danny what do you mean only me.  I can't help it if I like a little eye candy to go with the film, just makes it all that much more fun to watch.

Danny! Love this movie. We had the opportunity to take the kids to Tombstone in 1994. This was a great cast, Val Kilmer was so good. Excellent film!

Debbie, I can watch it over and over and never get tired of it.

One of my favorite all time lines in this movie is "I have not yet begun to defile myself" This, in my opinion has to be one of Val's best performances. I have the most incredible picture in my game room of all the lead characters of this movie.

I would start reciting the whole movie but you wouldn't get the same effect so I would suggest to anyone....watch it! One of my all time favorites!!! Everytime it is on I have to watch it.

I am not a fan of the Western as a genre but there are few I do like and this is one of them. I agree with eveyone else that Val Kilmer gives a great performance in this movie and delivers one of the most memorably one-liners!

Rich, I agree that was a great scene.  My favorite one-liner from Wyatt Earp was when Doc (Dennis Quaid) was lying drunk in the gutter on a Tombstone street and a crowd was gathering to look down on him with disdain.  He turned to the crowd and said, "All of you can kiss my rebel d***!"

I always get a laugh out of that one!

I love both LOTR and Star Wars (this is a deleted scene that didn't even get to the boxed set, Clip). I am also a huge fan of the Planet of the Apes movies, they were quite a social commentary in the late 60's and 70's and really entertaining.

Val Kilmer should have received an oscar nomination for his role as Doc Holiday.  I almost named my first born Doc after seeing this movie!  Thank god my wife vetoed that idea!  Great movie though!  "I'll be your Huckleberry" is one of the great lines ever!
