The Henderson Farmer's Market at Green Valley Ranch, NV showcases local and out of state farm growers from neighboring states such as; California who offer fresh fruits and vegetables for sale at affordable prices. Last Friday morning I walked to Whole Foods at The District Green Valley Ranch where I met up with my sister. My reward and breakfast for walking was the “green giant” fresh juice blend consisting of; apples, wheatgrass, parsley, and cucumber. I suggested we walk across the street to the Farmer’s Market. The vendors were still unloading their crates but were very eager to discuss their promotions. All the fruits and veggies were beaming with purity in the morning sun! After tasting a raw green bean or two I bought a nice bag full for $2.50! Eventually I got around to preparing the beans to cook two days later on Sunday. I could actually here the "snap" sound that I so fondly enjoyed as a little girl while helping my grandmother prepare a pot for Sunday dinner. How often have you felt the green beans at the supermarket to find them limp like a cooked spaghetti noodle in their cold bins? What a difference J
Another one of my purchases was some homemade jasmine soap! Personally, I have sensitive skin and am always apprehensive about skin care products. I have not experienced any soap film residue! I was also told this soap can be used as a shampoo! I like a two for one as much as the next person!
