Each month, I post the OKC & Edmond Real Estate statistics here, in hopes of providing my clients and other agents valuable information about the current state of our market. The idea is to allow people the ability to decide for themselves what's going on in the Oklahoma real estate market, enabling them to make their personal decisions based on fact, rather than just the perception created by the media.

When I compile these statistics, they're generally based on the volume recorded in the local MLS. Most months, my charts are pulled straight from the MLS, but every now and then, I have to compile the numbers myself, when the MLS hasn't published their reports as quickly as I'd like. October 2007 was a month which I had to do this. In my original statistical report for October, I posted the numbers available to me at that time in regard to single-family residences. Since then, the MLS has published their statistical report, which compiles all sales, not just single-family units. Their report also includes any transactions that were recorded late, after my initial post.

So, in the interest of posting the most up-to-date, accurate numbers, I'm posting the MLS reported numbers here:

As you can see, these numbers are actually more favorable than the ones I posted originally.
