I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
We are The United States of America and if our flag bothers you please find the quickest transportation source to exit our country. Trust me, we will not be offended. :)
We are ONE nation under GOD and that nation here is The United States of America.
That's the way I learned the pledge and that's the way I will always say it.

Amen. That's the Pledge. It's been that way ever since I've been on the Planet. I agree if it offends someone they can damn well pack their bags and go to a country more to their taste.
WE as Americans are slowly giving up our rights in the name of fairness and political correctness it's as if we need to be ashamed of being Americans but others will easily die for a lot less of a country and or die trying to get here. With all the technology it has made the world one and as in people so is a country, you get torn down or built up be the ones you hang out with.

Steve: I cannot imagine anyone objecting to the flying of an American flag. But, then again... I am from Cleveland. :) We are proud of our American flags.
By the way... you said we have to "take our country back." Ummm... from whom ? I thought we were ALL Americans.
Also... the phrase "under God" was added to the original pledge of allegiance in the year 1954.
