My Active|Rain listing is under contract!

I signed up for Active|Rain on September 19th. I simply went into the network, and entered my profile and picture. I was the only Agent in Quakertown PA USA listed in Active|Rain on that date. That very evening, I received a call from an agent from 80 miles away, looking for a local agent to list a property for sale. They had Googled Real Estate Agents in Quakertown PA, and up popped my Active|Rain Profile! I was invited to participate in the Realtor Sweepstakes at the property. I was chosen over two other local agents that were also asked to be interviewed for the listing.

This property was built in the 1860's and includes a barn and some equally old out buildings. It was obvious that the buyers would need to have plans for a rehab of the house and barn.

We have had 28 showings, and now five offers, and finally one that everyone has agreed upon.

I showed this property a number of times myself, and was able to sell another old farmhouse in the boro to a client, and also have a listing sold of that buyers house. Those two transactions have already closed.

So this is the third sale I have had so far as a direct result of my membership with Active|Rain. The moral of the story is, that blogging and networking really does work. Our time spent here on Active|Rain is prospecting, and is paying off. Thank you Active|Rain for this wonderful way to grow my real estate business.

Active|Rain does work wonders! I've see it all the time. Just imagine if the market was booming! Wow, what a tremendous effect Active|Rain whould have.
