Christmas Kittens... Oh my!

Ok so I needed a Christmas Kitten like I need five more Holiday pounds but both seemed unavoidable!

                                                                Percy

My husband found a family of cats behind a dumpster eating garbage and with much difficulty managed to catch one little bitty one about 6 weeks old. He brought it home as a Christmas kitten for my three year old and she is delighted with him. She has named him Percy after one of those Tomas the Tank Engine trains and he is a sweety.

So what is one more cat when you already have two cats, two dogs, and a bird? He will have a much better life with us than on the street eating garbage, even if he must put up with the over-zealous attentions of a three year old.

Good for you!  And... I know how you feel.  We have two cats, one dog and a rabbit.  Today we are off to pick out another rabbit to be a companion for our current one because she's lonely since her friend the hamster died!

Percy is quite handsome.  'Pink-nose kitties' are the best :)

He is definitely cute!  There is nothing like a new pet for Christmas.

well he is already getting big and his name changes with the unpredictable wheather. My little girl simply cannot decide so it changes frequently. He also is very shy of me but enjoys sneaking up behind me just the same. he also loves to sink his claws into my 90 lb Weimarainer in an effort to gain some sporting attention. Lucky for this little bitty cat that my dog has a tender heart and only looks up at me with a look of dejected resignation.

He liked playing on the boxes Alexandra and Emily, but not the tree. He did go for the curtains however. Nutmeg is such a cutie and a great name to suite her!

Shellee:

First of all, let me say, I just found this group and I can't wait to be a part of it.  I just added three new kittens to my family right around Thanksgiving.  Same deal as yours, sort of.  They were living in the area around my house, and the food I leave out for one cat in particular had them coming to my door.  It got cold and I got three six month old babies.  Will be blogging about them soon.

Your kitty is adorable.
