I'M EXCITED!! MY FIRST EMAIL CLOSING IS SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW! ALL PARTIES RECEIVED CONFIRMATION TODAY BY.... EMAIL OF COURSE!!!

Remote/Email directly with the attorney for the buyer

Well now, we just did a video closing a few months back which was a first for me. Before you know it, there will be SMART PHONE CLOSING!! Just go to your instant messaging, text a code, and WHAMO! - pick up your loot from the nearest ATM machine!

Aaahhhh the wonders of modern real estate processing and closings! Amazing, isn't it?? We can now Close through email, Close a loan at someone's work, in their dining room ... portable scanning devices and other technology making it all possible. Who would have thought we'd be conducting business like this when we started in the business all those years ago, huh Diane??

Diane, I was actually involved in a similar closing recently. My client was on a ship in the North Pacific (near Alaska) and we did most everything by email, but the wife had to attend the closing with a POA.
