A real estate agent client of mine asked me to write some copy for print ads. He was planning on placing these ads in the newspaper and those home sale magazines. A colleague of his asked him if he was nuts, saying that this concept of advertisement was outdated. I have seen many of these magazines but I never considered perusing one when I purchased my home. Just my personal taste. I didn't believe that any of the homes that I wanted to see were still available, because a few of the ones I chose were already gone.
Do the magazines really work for home sales or is it just a nice way to get your name out there?
