Yesterday was yet another example of why my time spent participating on ActiveRain is a worthwhile investment....

I received a phone call from a woman currently residing out in the Chicago Illinois area. Her husband was active-duty military. They had been stationed here in Kitsap County a few years back where they had purchased a home, and converted it to a rental property when they were transferred to Chicago.

She found me initially through my ActiveRain blog, followed my comment streams, and eventually ended up at my local WordPress real estate blog and website.

She asked me to do a marketing analysis on her home here and provide her with some options regarding whether she should sell the home, or hold onto it for a few more years until home valuations hopefully improve.

Richard, It always amazes me. I have been on Active Rain for such a short period of time. And I have had past clients and new clients find me here. One client always emails me from Active Rain . She must have a little bed here somewhere. Caprice

Hi Rich....People follow us, then contact when they are ready. We never really know where and who responds from our posts and comments, I do know People follow us because they like what we write about in our Blogs.

I get Business's, Artist, Home Sellers, Home Buyers  and just yesterday a New Medical Office complex asked  if I'll write about their complex...It's all Good writing and posting in the Rain!

My Mortgage Broker Bought me Lunch yesterday because she says even her co-works ask how she gets such good SEO, (she's on my AR Blog and web site). She also say she gets new business, from my Posts about her.

I continue to learn more and more from ActiveRain.  I've long been a "reader" but am now just beginning to venture in to the world of being a participant.  Over the past few weeks, I've been working on getting a strong presence online.  Getting it set up was not the hard part - it's now keeping it up!!  Those of you who do it on a regular basis - "hat's off"!
