Thurston County WA is a fast growing community with more growth expected over the next 30 years - lots of it. So the community has a chance to collectively envision how we want our community to look in the future, and plan for the growth so that a "Sustainable Thurston" remains an awesome place to live and work and play.
A partnership of local jurisdictions, organizations and community members want lots of community input about how we do that balancing act of building a future with a strong economy, and a healthy environment. One way to join in this conversation is to attend one of the public workshops to share your ideas, questions, concerns and thoughts.
Here are the upcoming dates for these workshops:
Monday, April 9th, 2012 - 6-8 PM at Rainier High School Library
Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 - 6-8 PM at Lacey Community Center
Thursday, April 12th, 2012 - 6-8 PM at Tenino High School Commons
